Bull’s Eye 3, available now!

The third book in this five part series is now available at Smashwords and Amazon (click those names for direct links). Follow Paul’s evolution, not only into that of the bull, but his evolution as a person.

Now that we’re half way through, I’m curious though, what are things that you’re looking forward to reading about. After you read this book, drop me a line in either the comments, on Twitter, or through email (kennywright.writer (at) gmail (dot) com).

Winger – Hotwife meets Swinger fiction

Many years back, I remember working with a beta reader who accused me of writing “winger” stories rather than hotwife stories. At the time, it was meant to be a disparagement. I wasn’t staying in my lane. I wasn’t hitting the beats that a “true” hotwife author hit. As many long-time readers know, I write these stories for myself first, exploring my own fantasies and turn-ons, so I never took the criticisms to heart and changed my ways.

Now, though, as I put out Bull’s Eye and its significantly more genre-bending/challenging story arc, it occurs to me that maybe the “winger” label is worth exploring a bit more—that maybe I’m not alone in enjoying the hybrid. So I put together a quick article here.

What is winger fiction?

Not a great name (but hey, I didn’t exactly pick it), but essentially it’s the intersection of “hotwife” fiction and “swinger” fiction. The way I’ve been writing it, at its heart, the action is driven by a husband’s desire to watch his wife with other men (aka “hotwife”) but along the way, he’s not a mere bystander in the action.

There may be another couple involved in the scene that he gets to play with. There may be a hot friend. Hell, the book may actually be mostly a group sex/swinger book with serious wife-watching elements. The key, though, is that it’s not your typical wife-sleeps-with-other-men-the-end story.

Some examples?

I’ve got a few of my own, of course. More than a few, actually, and I probably missed some on that list. The quintessential ones are probably books like All In or Cool With Her. At their heart, these are swinger stories, where couples get together and wild things happen. Ben Boswell’s Summer Swing is another good example of these approach (and I highly recommended read). Max Sebastian’s Anarchy of the Heart (coincidentally the book that turned me onto his work) is another example.

But the winger-themes do thread through many of my other books. Ben and I wrote the Parallel Lines books, which are explicitly about the husband and wife taking on different lovers. Book three of Training to Love It hits on aspects of a more open lifestyle, and Max Callahan, from the Forbidden series, was never a full-on hotwife husband.

Why do I like “winger” stories?

My fantasies tend to fall on the “hotwife” end of the hotwife-cuckold spectrum. I’m drawn less to the humiliation and the power games, and more towards the shared experience that can come from a husband watching his wife do naughty things. There’s room in there for more than just the one-sided fun.

Also, I think that when the husband gets in on the action, it’s easier to write a more balanced relationship. I realize that this is the deep fear of a woman when her husband admits to having a hotwife fantasy—”you just want me to sleep with other men so you can sleep with other women”—but I don’t think that winger stories are quite so transactional. The husband still desires, above all else, to watch his wife. But if things get crazy, he can get crazy, too.

So that’s “winger” fiction. Terrible name, but it does have a place. How about you all? Read any good books that would fit this hybrid genre? Let me know in the comments below!

New books section

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m reworking this site. One of the big changes I’ve had to make is to build out my book catalog again. Most of the books are now up if you head over to kennywriter.com/books.

I also organized them a little on that page, breaking it up by collaborations and anthologies.

What I haven’t done is add much in the way of taxonomy (tags, categories, etc.). I’ve done a few, like “Kindle Unlimited” and “Collaborations” but nothing else. So my question to you is whether that’s something that you’d find useful? And if so, what kinds of things would you like to know about my books?

Bull’s Eye, Book 2, now available!

The second book in the Bull’s Eye series is now available. If you haven’t read the first, Discovering the Hotwife Fantasy, you should. It’s only $0.99 and is available at all of your major online bookstores (Apple books is coming soon).

Here’s the blurb for the second book, Exploring the Hotwife Fantasy.

Hotwives. They’re not just women in open relationships. They’re not just women who cheat on their husbands. And they’re certainly not just myths.

Now that Paul Sharpe has discovered them, it’s time to explore, and Eleanor Heller is the perfect first-time hotwife to do it with. Beneath her cultured, proper exterior hides a wild side ready for Paul to unleash. Does she have a limit? Are there any lines that they will not cross?

New release: Bull’s Eye 1

At long, long last and over a year’s hiatus from the publishing world, I’m back with a new book… new series, in fact. I’ve teased about it a few times here on this blog, but now it’s real:

Bull’s Eye, Book 1, only $0.99

I’m trying something new with this series. Not only is it a different perspective on the hotwife genre (written from the other man’s perspective in a hotwife relationship), but I’m also releasing the first of this five-book series for only $0.99. It’s not as long as the others, but introduces all the main players of the whole series and hopefully gives you a taste for what’s to come.

Check it out on Amazon and Smashwords. Other retailers coming soon.

(And pardon the site. I’m trying to update it because it feels pretty rickety and dated, but I haven’t had a whole lot of time to sit down and focus on it.)

More updates later, and more frequently. Promise!

Yes, I’m alive!

And I’m still writing, believe it or not, just not at the same pace as in years past. Ben Boswell and I are actually working on a big collaboration that’s just hit about to hit 100,000 words.

The major project that I’m working on, however, is Bull’s Eye, which is going on a few years now, I guess. I’ve completed three of the five books, and all that needs to be done in the fourth book is a few revisions. I’m hesitant to start publishing them because I’m worried that I’ll put out three (or four) and then you’ll be stuck with a long wait for the last.

On the other hand, perhaps that would give me the pressure and deadline that I need to get me over the finish line.

What does everyone think?

Site back up

Got hacked there for a bit, but things are back up and running, including my sister site, hotwifebooks.com. Speaking of that site, though, I’m thinking of shutting it down. I barely have enough time to write, let alone maintain it (as you can see, the catalog is a bit out of date).

Let me know if you want me to keep it up, though. If there’s interest, I’ll keep it going.

Oh, and yes, still writing. Just busy with life, family, and my other job. I’ve got a fun thing cooking with Ben Boswell (we’re probably going to release it as a couple of books, like Parallel Lines. And I’m writing my third book of the Bull series, with plans to start publishing that shortly (?).

Thanks for being patient.

What’s going on, Kenny?

It’s been almost a year since my last book, Annie’s Affair, was published. I’ve had a couple short stories published in some Best Hotwife Erotica anthologies, but nothing of significant length. That’s nuts. I once had a goal of published six books in a year, and while I never got there, I think I came pretty close. Now, there’s a good possibility 2018 might come up as a giant zero.

This isn’t to say that I’m not writing. I’m writing all the time. I just haven’t been able to finish anything. And it’s not like I’ve just been writing the beginnings of things (although I have my fair share of those). I’ve actually got almost three stories complete, other than the climaxes. Two of these stories are books. One of them is a five part series of novellas (four of which are mostly written). I just need to push to complete before jumping ship to another. I’m obviously not a very disciplined writer.

I’ve talked about some of these books before, but I’ll briefly outline them again as a refresher.

In Too Deep (working title)

David’s wife, Amanda, goes to work undercover as a stripper. David only learns this when he coincidentally wanders into the strip club where she’s working, then it becomes all he can think about. The questions keep him up at night: What is the case she’s working? How much longer will it last? And what, exactly, does she need to do to maintain her cover? What’s even harder to shake is the excitement that grows as he thinks about her, as sick and wrong as that is.

I know how this one’s going to end. Hell, I think that I’m on maybe the last major set piece of the book (not the final chapter, but at the climax, which will probably unfold over a number of chapters). I even have a cover designed for it.

But I got distracted by the current project I’m working on:

Untitled (Chesterbrook neighbors)

When Andy and Rose learn that their neighbors, Jordan and Louis, are separated, it’s shocking. When they learn that the reason for the separation is that Louis wants Jordan to be a hotwife, it’s confusing. Especially when both of them find that they’re intrigued by the prospect of being a hotwife—something neither wants to admit to the other for fear of following the same fate as their neighbors.

Again, I’m on the final chapters of this one. It was meant to be a light diversion, but turned into a full novel. I like the characters and the game that they’re playing. It’s not too heavy (like In Too Deep became) and it’s basically writing itself. In Too Deep (and my next set of books) requires a lot more plotting than this one. You should see it out first, hopefully… soon?

Bull’s Eye (five book series)

This one I’ve alluded to on Twitter and on this blog. It’s, perhaps, my most ambitious project to date. I wanted to write something different, and since I’ve written mostly from the husband’s perspective and a few times from the wife’s, I wondered whether it would be possible (and more importantly, interesting) to write from the bull’s. This one follow’s Paul on his journey from discovering the world of hotwifing and cuckoldry to getting caught up in it. It is, ultimately, a slow-burn romance with a lot of sex along the way.

It started as a single book, but when I realized that I couldn’t do it justice in just one, I split it into two, then three, then five. I’ve fallen in love with characters before, but never quite as hard as this (not Paul, but the female lead, who I won’t spoil). I think that’s why it’s so hard to write the final book of the series, because I want to do it justice, and honestly, I’m not sure it’s going to have the happy ending that I’m rooting for. I’m just going to write it and see… and that scares me.

So that’s my update. Hopefully I can finish that Chesterbrook story soon. In the meantime, hotwifebooks.com is still kicking with new things to explore, if you’re looking for some good books. We’ve added a couple new authors there, Sidney Sitravon and K.T. Morrison.

We also just published a new Best Hotwife Erotica anthology, this one centered around group sex. If you haven’t picked it up, do grab it. It’s only $0.99.

Want to support me? Then support my fellow authors. If you’ve read their books and enjoy them, but haven’t left a review, do that. More than anything, reviews help drive traffic to the books, which help with sales—not to mention help boost confidence and good vibes for the authors themselves.
